Discounted Pilates Instruction with Tiziana

Tiziana is a Pilates Master teacher & teacher trainer, an orthopedic therapist and yoga teacher. She has dedicated her entire life to the biomechanics of the body. The understanding and teaching of efficient movements are my passion.

She started studying Pilates in Milan, Italy as a young dancer in 1992. After moving to NYC to pursue her dance career in 1993, she seized the opportunity to study Pilates directly with Romana Krizanowska, the heir apparent of Joseph Pilates. She got certified to teach in 1998 and as a teacher trainer in 2008.

Her travels eventually brought her to Newport Beach California, where she opened and ran two Pilates studios and also traveled the world teaching at various Pilates conferences and training centers.

If you have ever considered trying Pilates or desire to continue your current training while on this amazing retreat, this is your opportunity! Tiziana will be offering REDUCED RATES for participants at her small Pilates studio just down the street from Cala Luna.

Do you have a rotator cuff injury that never seems to heal? Nagging new or old lower back pain?

While teaching Pilates, Tiziana had the good fortune to work side by side with some brilliant physical therapists in California. This inspired her to complete massage therapy school to learn not only prevention and recovery through exercise, but through bodywork as well. Following graduation and study of orthopedic specific courses, I understudied at Natural Health Physical Therapy in in Newport Beach, CA. Some of our clients were Olympic athletes such as Misty May, Kerry Walsh and world champion surfers like Kelly Slater and Greg Long.

Subsequently the Trovati Body Works method was developed: a unique therapy that combines body work (massage) , stretches, strengthening exercises and self Mayo-fascia release. She put together all she learned through a lifetime of working with bodies!

Full Spa Day at Los Altos de Eros Spa

When was the last time you were pampered for hours? This Spa Day Package at Los Altos de Eros spa is like a “tasting menu for self indulgence”. You will leave feeling as if you were in heaven for the day! You will be greeted at the spa by our highly trained massage therapists and can take in the beautiful views and relax in the lounge while selecting your treatments for the day.

First choose from either an hour and a half massage or manicure and pedicure. Then select two additional treatments from the following options:

End your day soaking in the hydro-therapy tub and/or relaxing in the lounge area with spectacular views while enjoying a healthy gourmet lunch from our chef accompanied with 1 complimentary drink.

Rincon de la Vieja Day Pass

Your day pass includes transportation to Rincon de la Vieja National Volcano Park. Choose to hike, horseback ride or Zip-Line in one of the most popular destinations in Guanacaste to feel a volcano breathing through the steam holes and mud bubbling. An expert guide will introduce you at this rain forest in a 3 hour tour, then relax in natural hot springs where volcanic mud is ready for a full body exfoliation. Lunch available. Approx. 8hrs.

Chocolate Tour

In the course of 3+ hours Reina’s Chocolate Cafe & Tasting Room will cover the whole history of cacao the plant and chocolate as food. You will have at least four different beverages during the workshop, a lot of chocolate, make three chocolate bars and tour their production facilities! They will also teach you how to taste chocolate professionally while sampling the many varieties of chocolates (15+) they have. Approx 3 hours, 15 mins from Cala Luna
